Honorable Kahinda Otafiire has called upon the citizens of Uganda to vote for the right leader adding that the Presidency does not belong to President Yoweri Museveni.
Mr Kahinda who was speaking about the 2026 Presidential elections in Uganda went on to say that President Yoweri Museveni should not pick his successor because the government of Uganda belongs to the people of Uganda.
” It would be wrong for President Yoweri Museveni to name anyone to succeed him. The Presidency of Uganda is not owned by President Yoweri Museveni else he would not be going around looking for votes.” Honorable Kahinda Said.
This is happening at the same time when President Yoweri Museveni’s son, General Muhoozi has stated that no civilian was going to lead Uganda after President Yoweri Museveni, a remark that has caught the attention of several politicians who are allied to Uganda Opposition leader Bobi Wine.
Several sources have confirmed that General Muhoozi who was speaking about the 2026 Presidential elections has stated that he is not going to be in the ballot, he urged his supporters to back President Yoweri Museveni.
