“I Pity President Museveni’s Successor” Popular Imaam Kasozi Breaks Silence On How Museveni Has Personalized Everything – Made Worst

Imam Idi Kasozi has called for reforms in the Electoral process stating that anyone who is going to become President after Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is going to have a hard time allegedly because everything has been personalized.

In a recent appearance on NBS Morning Breeze, The renowned Imam who was speaking about the current political situation in the country went on to ask why lawyers allegedly voted for Isaac Ssemakadde as the President of the Uganda Law Society.Imam Idi Kasozi.

“Sometimes I pity people who will come to lead Uganda after President Museveni. Everything is almost personalized including every function in this country.”

“Every right-thinking Ugandan would wish to see some reforms in our electoral process. However, even when we have the best of these reforms put in place, we may not get the results we want”.

Imam Idi Kasozi also voiced his frustration with the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and its military wing, the National Resistance Army (NRA). He argued that after nearly 40 years in power, the ruling party has not fulfilled the expectations of the Ugandan people.

“It’s unfortunate that after almost 40 years, the NRM and NRA have not lived up to the expectations of Ugandans,” Imam Kasozi said during the show, pointing to what he perceives as the government’s shortcomings in delivering on its promises.

His statement has sparked a lively debate on social media, with many Ugandans echoing similar concerns. Some highlighted ongoing issues such as economic challenges, corruption, and governance failures, while others defended the NRM’s achievements over the decades, particularly in maintaining stability and security in the country.

This is happening at the same time when Ugandas Chief of Defense Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has exited the 2026 Presidential elections.

The renowned General who spoke about the 2026 Presidential elections in Uganda has called upon his supporters to back President Yoweri Museveni stating that he, President Yoweri Museveni is going to deal with criminals and corrupt individuals in the government.
