Uganda’s Grassroots Revolution: CAPAIDS Uganda Unites Diverse Stakeholders for Sustainable Development In Consultation Meeting With 05 Categories

Kampala, Uganda – In a groundbreaking effort to create safe spaces for Development Actors that facilitate co-designing and Co-Creating locally owned and Locally Led context specific solutions to sustainable development, CAPAIDS Uganda convened a pivotal consultation meeting for the Local Leadership Labs Project, bringing together stakeholders from five critical categories.

Held at Eureka Place Hotel in Ntinda, Kampala, the event forged a united front against socioeconomic challenges, harnessing local expertise and resources for sustainable development.

The 05 Categories: A Powerhouse of Change

The five categories represented at the consultation included:

  1. Disability-focused organizations
  2. Faith-Based Organizations
  3. Women Led Organizations
  4. Women Rights Organizations
  5. Cultural leaders

These diverse stakeholders gathered to tackle pressing issues, share experiences, and brainstorm solutions, marking a significant milestone in CAPAIDS Uganda’s commitment to grassroots empowerment.
