President Museveni Appreciates Anita Among For Being Hard Working And Reveals Those Opposing Her

President Yoweri Museveni has praised Speaker Anita Among for her dynamic leadership, emphasizing her role in spearheading development and fostering innovation within the community.

Museveni expressed his admiration during the official inauguration of Bukedea Teaching Hospital, a remarkable project initiated and realized by Speaker Among. This healthcare facility aims to deliver high-quality and affordable medical services to the residents of Teso and surrounding areas.

Commending Among’s proactive approach, Museveni remarked, “I extend my congratulations to my daughter, Among, for her tireless efforts in uplifting her community. From establishing schools to constructing hospitals and nursing institutions, her dedication to progress is evident.”

Highlighting Among’s ingenuity and attentiveness, Museveni commended her for her investment in visionary projects. “She possesses exceptional planning skills, evident in the establishment of Bukedea Comprehensive School, which offers top-notch education. The revenue generated from the school has been reinvested in building the hospital and a nursing school, demonstrating her commitment to holistic development,” he noted.

Moreover, Museveni addressed criticisms against Speaker Among, denouncing detractors as agents of external interests. He emphasized the importance of discerning true adversaries, stating, “Our focus should be on combating traitors collaborating with foreign agendas, rather than vilifying progressive leaders like Anita Among.”

Acknowledging the challenges faced by young leaders, Museveni affirmed his support for their growth within the National Resistance Movement (NRM) framework. He likened their journey to that of learners, underscoring the party’s commitment to guiding and empowering its members.

In addition to inaugurating Bukedea Teaching Hospital, Museveni commissioned Bukedea College of Health Science, a testament to Among’s multifaceted contributions to healthcare education.
